Innovating Automation with our Plate Stacker System
Automation and production often go hand in hand, utilising machinery to handle simple and repetitive tasks, allowing more focus to go to complex projects requiring human input. The Plate Stacker System automates the engraving process by eliminating the need to load materials into the laser one by one and instead allowing up to 300 plates to be loaded in a single batch.
What are the benefits of the Plate Stacker System?
For many companies loading products into our lasers one by one is preferable as they may be engraving into different materials each time, marking different designs or cutting into different shape objects. However if you want to mark products of the same size and material, automation could be the key to maximising the productivity of your laser. That’s where the Plate Stacker comes in, simply fill the input stack with up to 300 plates, add your design to the system (including the option to import a database of different designs) then press go, the Plate Stacker takes care of alignment and engraving, delivering perfect results on each plate.

Our R&D department works hard to create new methods of automating the engraving process, previously we have built a cobot solution which used a robotic arm to pick up products and place them into a rotary device for 360 degree marking before then removing the finished item and placing it onto a tray of finished products. Systems like this and our plate stacker are great examples of how a laser can be integrated into production processes without adding extra manual labour.
