Timberlands is a leading brand in the footwear industry, well known for their iconic yellow boots which are very durable and created with sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives in mind.

The Application
Timberlands have a very iconic brand however on occasion they experiment with their designs for events.
The sides of Timberland boots is a great blank canvas for intricate designs and artwork

The Problem
As part of 2024s London Fashion Week we were asked to engrave 100 pairs of Timberland boots, this was the perfect opportunity to show off our technology and knowledge.
By creating high quality engravings consistently on all 100 pairs of boots we would prove the capabilities of our meta laser systems.

The Solution
Using our Meta-C UV we were able to create high quality engravings on the sides and the tips of the boots adding extra style to the usually plain boots.
Using the Meta-C UV laser system allowed us to create consistent high precision and quality engravings on all 100 boots.
The Meta-C is also able to mark on curved surfaces using its 3-Axis head, this ensures that the engraving maintains its detail and precision as the boot curves.
The Result
Using a laser system makes engraving high quality complex designs easy, simply upload the design to the machine, tweak a few settings, line up the boots in the machine and press go!
This is a brilliant example of how laser engraving can be used in the fashion industry as a new method of creating unique designs and personalisation. By using laser engraving these designs will not fade or become damaged by daily wear and tear or being washed.
